As part of the fourth-day program of the National Service Scheme Special Camp-NSS, students of Moserla Udyana College set up a backyard garden on the premises of farmer Srikanth Sharma’s house in Ventura village.

As part of the fourth-day program of the National Service Scheme Special Camp, students of Moserla Udyana College set up a backyard garden on the premises of farmer Srikanth Sharma’s house in Ventura village. The students informed the villagers about the procedure of setting up a backyard garden and how to cultivate a backyard garden. 

Along with stringy vegetables, leafy vegetables, eggplant, chili, and okra seeds were planted in the backyard garden. NSS volunteer Naga explained to the villagers that the backyard garden provides clean fresh vegetables without any chemical residue and also saves the cost of buying vegetables outside. Sindhu informed the villagers about backyard gardening. Seed kits were distributed to selected farmers in this program. Village Panchayat Secretary, NSS Program Officer Dr. Vidya, students, and villagers participated in this program.

Environmental cleanliness is our responsibility

Students of Moserla Udyana College cleaned the neighborhood in the streets of Velturu village as part of the fourth day of National Service Scheme Special Camp Unit-2. NSS Programming Officer Dr. Education and students informed the people of the village. They said that a blood donation camp would be organized on Friday.
Villagers, the Panchayat Secretary, and students participated in this program.
