For example, in the old bazaar of the town, opposite to the Gandhi statue, around 160 yards of government land was occupied in the name of the temple and four commercial shops were constructed.

The people of the town and the leaders of public associations are questioning what the revenue authorities and municipal authorities are doing if the government land is occupied in the name of temple. If the municipality takes over the same place and runs a shopping complex, the revenue of the municipality will increase. But it appears that the authorities are not thinking in this direction. Some politicians in the BRS government conspired to convert the site worth crores into a temple.

Currently, the construction of a commercial shopping complex is being done at that place without any permits. Some big men say that this place is the government. It is known that when the old building was there, a Child Development Center, Anganwadi Center and for a few days a ration dealer shop was also organized in it.
Even now, many people are expressing the opinion that it would be better if the concerned authorities responded and the municipal authorities take over the property.

Municipal Commissioner Shyamsundar sought an explanation on this matter :

Municipal authorities should take possession

CPM mandal secretary Mallesh said some people are making illegal constructions in the old bazaar in front of the Gandhi statue without permission. The municipality authorities responded and demanded possession of the place. He questioned what the officials are doing if the government land worth crores is being encroached upon. High officials demanded to respond.
