Dengue attack… Caution is the cure!

Dengue
Spread the love

The mosquito business starts when the rainy season arrives. Muddy water, garbage cans, and unsanitary surroundings… all these are breeding grounds for the dangerous mosquito Aedes aegypti. And if it bites, it is as if it has contracted the dengue virus fever. High fever, low platelet count, severe fatigue… situations like this can suddenly become life-threatening. But, this is not inevitable! If we take a step forward with knowledge, caution, and democratic responsibility… we should realize that there is no way out for dengue.

But, this is not inevitable! If we take a step forward with knowledge, caution, and democratic responsibility… we should realize that there is no way out for dengue.

How to recognize dengue?

The symptoms of dengue initially weaken the body. Especially:

  • Sudden high fever
  • Headache, pain behind the eyes
  • Red rashes on the skin
  • Bleeding from the nose and teeth
  • Muscle and joint pain with diarrhea
  • Extreme fatigue, lethargy

You should head to the hospital immediately if these symptoms appear. Delay can lead to death.

Diagnosis is relief

Blood tests should be done within two to three days of the onset of fever. Especially:

  • NS1 Antigen Test – In the early stages
  • IgM, Antibody Tests – For current and past infections
  • CBC – To note platelet levels
  • RT-PCR Test – For accurate virus identification
  • Liver Function Test – To know the effect on the liver

These tests change the direction of treatment. Early information is the weapon for health!

Food is the medicine!

Proper diet is the key to recovering from dengue quickly. Important:

Things to eat:

  • Papaya, Mozaabi, Lemon – to increase platelets
  • Green vegetables – high in iron and folate
  • Coconut water, lemon juice – for hydration
  • Boiled eggs, lentils, light soups – to maintain energy

Things to avoid:

  • Oily foods like bajjis, samosas, chips
  • Carbonated drinks, preservative juices
  • Alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen – dangerous
  • Meat – only in small quantities

Nutritious diet, water consumption, rest – these are the principles of recovery from dengue!

There is a place for homeopathy, but…

Homeopathic remedies can help to some extent in boosting immunity for viral fevers like dengue. However, using medicines on their own is dangerous. Medicines should be used only after expert advice.

Emergency signs of dengue are:

  • Platelet count less than 20,000
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Left side, stomach pain
  • Severe fatigue, lethargy
  • Continuous bleeding

If these conditions occur, you should immediately go to the hospital.

People should come forward!

It is not only the government that is responsible for preventing dengue disease – everyone has a responsibility. Do not let water accumulate in the premises of the house. Remove old cans, brooms, and old plastics lying on the ground. Take steps to prevent mosquitoes. If we pay attention to this matter — it is possible to completely stop dengue!

Mosquitoes are the source of dengue, we must prevent it from the source!

No matter how advanced medical science is… if we do not take precautions, we will have to drink drops. Keeping in mind the fact that there is no cure for dengue… we should take appropriate treatment with preventive measures, constant cleanliness, and doctor’s advice.

Every clean house is a shield for society!

Every mosquito repellent is a life-saving measure!
