Each Eligible Person (18) Should Register Their Name In The Electoral Roll: Wanaparthy Collector Tejas Nanda Lal Pawar

District Collector Tejas Nanda Lal Pawar suggested that Eligible youth who will complete the age of 18 years by April 1, 2024 should register their name in the electoral roll .

Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj held a video conference with the District Collectors and Additional Collectors from Hyderabad on Monday afternoon and made several suggestions.

The Collectors were advised to prepare all the arrangements for the conduct of the Parliament elections. After the release of the final list prepared for the conduct of the parliamentary elections, Vikas Raj inquired about the large number of applications for registration and removal of new voters in the respective districts. He said that voter list without mistakes should be prepared for the Parliament elections, and the election staff should take the details and enter the details online including the EPIC number.

He said that these details will be useful for postal vote. Agjalari advised to send proposals if required for polling stations.
District Collector Tejas Nanda Lal Pawar, who participated in this video conference, said that the final voter list has been published and sent to all polling stations and political parties.

Voters should go through the list and check if their name is there or if there are any errors. Those who have registered their name in the voter’s list have been sent for printing of epic cards and they will reach their homes by post, he said. If anyone has lost their Epic Card, they can apply through Form 8. In case of dead voters or duplicate voters concerned B.L. O or Tahsildars are advised to apply through Form 7.

He informed that after the release of the final voter list in Vanaparthi district, 4431 applications have been received so far, including form 6,7,8. He said that every application will be scrutinized at the AERO level and shortlisted for eligible, duplicate, deceased and polling station changes will be resolved.
